Jeneen, one of our group members, has organized a stitch-along with another
group, Quilts for Older Children. She has organized this SAL by
providing the fabric for her group and has found a cute freebie, called
Kitty Love. She is also providing the fat quarters to be used in the
quilt. Isn't this a wonderful way to share the love of stitching with
others? Our group, WOCS would like to thank Jeneen and her group, Q4OC,
for stitching these cute little kitties, which will be made into a
beautiful quilt or quilts by one of our quilters and donated to a child or senior citizen sometime
this year.

Our group is currently stitching
Tulips as a Spring Theme. It is cold outside for most of the country
(USA) and this theme will help us to dream of spring and the warmer
weather. We try to create themes the members will enjoy stitching and it looks there are a lot of tulip designs for the members to choose from. Several of these charts were free ones found on the internet and created by very generous designers. Most of the charts stitched are not large ones and don't take a great deal of time to finish. We hope to be able to create two beautiful quilts to be donated to a senior care facility sometime this year.
