Wild Animal Quilt

Our group is working on a quilt (or two) for a child.  The theme is Wild Animals.
When we open a new theme, there is always such a variety of squares.  That's what makes stitching for these themes such fun.

Most cross stitchers have a huge stash of patterns, some they have been saving for that special gift.

Maybe someone reading this post will be inspired to stitch for our groupEvery year we donate many lap quilts, tote bags, walker/ wheelchair bags and other gifts to seniors and children

Animal Babies Squares for Quilts

Aren't these the cutest Animal Babies?  We are planning on making two quilts with these stitched pieces.  They will be donated to two of our charities.  These were free Ellen Maurer-Stroh (EMS) designs that one of our members had saved many years ago.  Our group asked permission from Ellen to use these in making some quilts for our charities and she graciously gave us permission.

If you love to cross stitch or sew, please join our group of ladies to help bring a smile to the faces of seniors and children.
