Our current theme for a quilt (or two) is Autumn. The senior who receives this gift will be able to cuddle under this quilt on cold winter evenings. Some of our cross stitchers are still working on their squares.
If you would like to join us in stitching some of these quilt themes, please go to our website and join. If you think you might like to join but have too many obligations right now, put our name, World of Charity Stitching, on your computer calender as a reminder and join in the stitching in the new year. It is a lot of fun, very rewarding, and relaxing.
We create a lot of beautiful quilts, but we couldn't do that without the help of so many of our stitching and quilting members.
If you have any questions, please post on this site and we will try to answer as soon as possible.

Our group, World of Charity Stitching, is currently working on cross stitch squares for a Patriotic Quilt. This quilt will be donated to a wounded warrior,
Dustin Tuller, of Milton, Florida, who lost both legs in Iraq in 2004. If you would like to read

We hope to have more than 12 squares; if we do, the second quilt will be donated to a Veteran in a care facility.
Gavin, who is 10 years old, is a very caring, giving child. He is in the 4th grade, is very involved with Cub Scouts, wants to
learn to play the guitar, enjoys playing
baseball, and really enjoys playing with his cousins now that his family has moved to WA.
Gavin's mom, Charity, has been stitching for our group, World of Charity Stitching, since 2010. Gavin started cross stitching when he was seven years old and has become quite the expert stitcher. Recently he has stitched (along with his mom) several farm squares that they have donated to our group, to be made into a quilt for a child.
These are the farm squares stitched by Gavin and his mom, Charity:
We hope that Gavin will continue to stitch as he gets older and will continue to enjoy it.
