WOCS Contest Winner - JoyceLM

The winner of our most recent World of Charity Stitching is JoyceLM.

Here is what Joyce had to say on our comment page:
"Great giveaway. My Mom taught me to embroider when I was probably around 10 years old. I would buy stamped cross-stitch & embroidery cloths with my allowance & baby-sitting money.    I'm already a follower of the World of Charity Stitching blog and I like World of Charity Stitching on Facebook. Thanks for the giveaway."

Congratulations Joyce.  We hope you enjoy your package of goodies.  They will be mailed out to you next week after we receive your postal mailing address.

Have fun stitching and we hope you will join our group of stitchers, sewists, and quilters.

Random.org number generator was used to pick the winner, but it would not post a photo of the winning number.

Some Changes Going On at WOCS

We've had some administrative changes in our blog lately. Dona, our normal poster and photo uploader has been unable to continue updating our blog information. There will now be three post writers who will try to keep the blog updated as much as possible. If our readers have any concerns or questions, please let us know. Thanks, Peggy

A GIFT FOR A VERY SPECIAL LITTLE GIRL

Say hello to Kaylee Rae.  Kaylee is a very sweet little girl who is very ill.  Her mom asked World of Charity Stitching if we could make something for her.   And, of course, we did!

Kaylee is only 7 months old and has polymicrogyria, epilepsy, cortical vision impairment and a feeding tube.  She sees the colors red and yellow the best.  We offered to make a Precious Patterns Baby Animal Softie and she loved it.  Her mom, Danielle, gave me permission to post her photo.  We also sent some finger puppets so mom could entertain her!
