We have some new categories we are stitching for at World of Charity Stitching.

We're making a Garden Quilt for a Senior Lady and our first square is this beautiful garden bench stitched by Wilma.

We are also looking for stitchers who would be interested in working on a Sea Life quilt for a Senior Gentleman.

And of course, we are still stitching Silly Cows for a child's quilt.  Silly Cow patterns are free.  Come over to our Yahoo group and sign up!  We'd love to meet you.

World of Charity Stitching is a group of counted cross stitchers and quilters from around the world that make lap quilts, pillows, walker bags, tote bags, greeting cards, and bookmarks to give to children in need and to the elderly in nursing homes.  At the present time, we are donating stitched items to a nursing home, a domestic violence shelter and to the Ronald McDonald House.

If you enjoy cross stitching, sewing or quilting, please join us for the opportunity to use your talents to bring cheer and comfort to children and adults at a stressful time in their lives.  Stitchers can choose either Aida, evenweaves or linen of any count size or color for the lap quilt squares and other items.  The lap quilts are themed quilts, such as dogs or cats, flowers, sea life, teddy bears, etc.  There are members in the group who enjoy finishing the bookmarks, cards, or totes if you aren't able to do so.

The group owners/moderators will be glad to help in anyway possible.  We also have a quarterly newsletter in pdf and word format we can email to you if you wish further information.

Please access our Yahoo Group to join our group of stitching and quilting ladies.  We'd love to meet you!
