A Walker Bag Gift

Our group sewed a walker bag for Mary F., who is the secretary of a local bowling league in Pensacola.

Mary has had multiple knee surgeries (and problems) the last couple of years and has had to use a walker for most of that time.  She  bowled in more than one league and many National Tournaments, but hasn't been able to since her surgeries.

Mary was thrilled to receive this special gift from our group. (She said her sister would be so jealous when she saw her walker bag.)

This walker bag was a free pattern found on the internet.  It is fairly easy to make and the instructions are easy to follow.

Our group makes many gifts for seniors and children throughout the year.  If you have some extra time for cross stitching or sewing for charity, please join our group.
