One of our talented quilters, Bonnie, told us she had some Elvis fabric in her stash.  Bonnie makes many quilts for our group to be donated to seniors and children, so we thought we'd like to try an Elvis themed quilt.

We decided to create an "Elvis" quilt with each stitcher using her imagination to stitch a square that would symbolize Elvis and how they remember him.  Elvis was an American music icon who was very popular in the 60's and 70's (for those of you who are too young to have ever heard of Elvis).

We hope that by creating this quilt for a senior citizen, it will bring back fond memories of good times.

  1. Everyone's squares are so creative, they are going to make a really nice quilt. I can't wait to see them all come together :)
